In popular control panels such as cPanel, there is a feature called Addon Domain, which allows you to add one or more additional domains next to the main domain to the hosting service.

In this case, each domain domain has a separate database, email and features. But space and resources are shared between all domains. In this tutorial we are going to explain how to create an add domain in cPanel.

Note that the possibility of adding an addon domain in the cPanel must be pre-configured through the server administrator in WHM.

How to Create an Addon Domain in cPanel?

Note that the possibility of adding an addon domain in the cPanel must be pre-configured through the server administrator in WHM.

Using your hosting service information, log in to the cPanel control panel.

From the DOMAINS section, click Addon Domains.

You can enter information about the new domain on the Addon Domain page and in the Create an Addon Domain section. In the new domain name box, enter the full domain address you want to add to the host.

cPanel will automatically fill in the following boxes according to the entered domain name. (You can upload files and information about the new domain in the path you specify in the Document Root box.)

If you want to create an FTP account for a new domain, enable the Create an FTP account check box associated with this Addon Domain. If you enable this option, you must specify the FTP account username and password.

Finally, after entering all the information click on the Add Domain button to add and create a new domain as an addon domain to the host.
