FTP or File Transfer Protocol is a protocol for transferring information between two systems over the Internet. by creating an FTP account in cPanel, can be managed and controlled files via FTP.

How to create an FTP account in cPanel?

To get started, log in to your hosting control panel using your username and password.

Select the FTP account option from the files section.

On the FTP account page from the Add FTP account section, you must enter the FTP account information to create.

In the log in box, enter the FTP account username.

In the password box, enter the password you want for your FTP account.

In the directory box, if you want to manage a specific folder, you must specify its path and name but if you want the FTP account to have full access to all folders, leave this box blank.

With the quota option, you can specify a size limit for your FTP account. if you want no restrictions, you must select the unlimited option.

Finally, after entering the complete information, click on the Create FTP Account option. the desired account is created and you can see it in the list of FTP accounts.
