In order for files and information to be available through the host, we must first upload the information we want to the cpanel host space. We can upload our files and information to the host space through the cPanel file manager.

In this tutorial, we try to explain how to upload a file on cPanel host.

How to upload file in cPanel?

First, with the username and password information, we enter the user interface of the cpanel host.

From the files section, click on the file manager option to move to the new page.

In the file manager page, we see all the main files and folders on the host space. (The main path is to place site information in the public_html folder.)

We go to any path we want to upload the information and files we want in that path. from the options at the top of the page, click on the upload button.

On the File Upload page, click the Select File button to select the files and folders on your system space to upload to the host. (You can also drag and drop your files to upload to space.)

After selecting the files, the process of uploading them to the host space is done automatically by cPanel. When the upload rate is 100%, the selected files will be uploaded on the space and in the path you were on. You can see the uploaded files by going to the same path.

Enable Overwrite existing files option if you want to replace / overwrite files with the same name with the new files you want to upload.
